DevMeth — Acceptable Use Policy

This policy describes what we allow — and do not allow — when you use the DevMeth Service. It supplements the Terms of Service.

1. Scan only what you own or are authorized to scan

You may only submit code or live URLs for apps you own or are authorized to scan. Scanning someone else's app without authorization — including probing a third party's production system — is prohibited. Our live probes are read-only (GET/HEAD/OPTIONS only) and rate-limited, but authorization to scan is your responsibility.

2. Prohibited use

• Circumventing scan limits, quotas, rate limits, or other abuse controls.
• Using the Service to attack, overload, or gain unauthorized access to any system.
• Repurposing our probes or bottom to attack third parties under the guise of a scan.
• Distributing malware, phishing, or unlawful content through the Service.
• Submitting code or data you lack the rights to process, or that violates any law.
• Misrepresenting affiliations, or using the Service to commit fraud.

3. Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate access, reject inputs, or delete scans that violate this policy. We may record abuse indicators (such as hashed identifiers) to enforce these limits. We will cooperate with law enforcement where legally required.

4. Reporting abuse

If you believe the Service is being used to scan or attack your systems, contact us at nick@devmeth.com with details and we will investigate promptly.
