DevMeth — Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of DevMeth (the "Service"), operated by the DevMeth founder. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you warrant you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.

1. What the Service does

The Service checks the 48 known AI-code failure patterns. It scans the code and/or live URL you provide — using read-only, non-destructive methods — and reports plain-English findings with paste-ready fix prompts. The Service is not a penetration test or a security guarantee. A clear ("verified-green") result means every known pattern we check was found clear or not applicable; it does not and cannot guarantee any app is secure.

2. Accounts and scans

No account is required to run a scan; an email address is optional and used to send you results and, if you buy, a receipt. You may only scan code or apps you own or are authorized to scan. You are responsible for all activity conducted under your inputs. Your uploaded code is deleted after a scan by default, and we disclose exactly how in our Privacy Policy.

3. Payments, refunds, and entitlement

Paid reports are one-time purchases with the features described at the point of purchase. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. We offer a 30-day no-questions refund on paid reports — email nick@devmeth.com within 30 days of purchase and we will refund you. Enterprise/SKU grant pricing is offered at our discretion.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service: (a) to scan apps you do not own or lack authorization to scan; (b) to violate any law or the terms of any third-party service; (c) to attempt to circumvent scan limits, quotas, or abuse controls; (d) to interfere with the Service or its infrastructure; or (e) to probe or attack other services disguised as a scan. 5. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the code you scan. Our Service, findings format, templates, brand, and site content remain our property. Nothing in these Terms grants you a license to reproduce or republish our templates or site content except to use the Service.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the fees you actually paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it will be error-free, always available, or free of false positives or false negatives.

7. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date and posted on this page. You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in our jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect.
